WILD AND SCENIC RIVER

In 1996, a Management Plan for the Upper Deschutes River was created by a team of local, state, and Federal agencies.  The Plan provides rules for preserving the unique scenic, recreation, fish and wildlife values of the Deschutes River, while maintaining property rights. The Plan is administered by Oregon Parks and Recreation.
